I'm sure many moms have been in that position where your kids want to participate in some sort of craft. So I took advantage of my computer and found sites on making your own Playdough. Ussally I just purchase Playdough at the store but, recently have noticed how quickly it hardens. I though that this would be the perfect time to see what all the buzz was about This is so simple to make. Completely a fun and easy experience! My Daughter Ava was involved in creating the playdough.
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup of salt
2 tbs of cream of tartar
1 tbs of oil
Food colouring
1 cup of boiling water
Directions
Mix all ingredients except the boiling water together into a large mixing bowl
Add the boiling water and mix well (Note, the food colouring will mix in better if added to the boiling water) Please take care when using boiling water around children. I also dusted my cutting board with flour and proceeded to kneed the Playdough with my hands.
